I’ve loved Pokémon since I was a little girl who got an Energy card from her big brother to stop bothering him. I was so proud of my first Pokémon card.
As you might know, I sure do love replica’s! And especially those of game related stuff. But these sure are something… different…
As you might have guessed, my better half is pretty amour’ed by a, for us, new company. And he’s not the only one! So I’m extremely happy to be able to review these two new colourways of our favourite little car ever; the Fallout Fusion Flea by The Wand Company!
It was a very busy week for us last week. We’ve worked hard in our house for three days straight (we are remodelling) and went to Gamescom for three days after that. Why? Well, we offered to help out at the First 4 Figures stand. And man, am I knackered…
Edit: video added.
Like already said in previous posts, I really like Fallout. A while back we discovered ‘The wand company’ who were starting their Fallout line and gave a preview about the first in the 1:18 die cast car line: The Fusion Flea.
Finally, finally (!), I have found one that was on my wanted list for years. Literally years! I found the email asking if they had anything still left in stock (dated June 3th 2012) but while I could add it to the PayPal cart, they hadn’t. So sad. So Ebay it was but it rarely popped up. Until now. Say hello to the Gunstringer!
Okay, I have some weak spots. Maybe a lot, depends who you’ll ask… One of those weak spots are replica’s, 1/18 famous cars and Fallout. I’m not sure how The Wand Company came to know this, but they decided to play with my emotions and made something that combined those three weak spots. It is not fair to hit me with something like this. Just how could I resist it?
Okay, this is one of these posts meant for people with money to burn… Or for people that only collect a limited line, like only stuff from Bioshock: Infinite for instance. Unfortunately, we don’t fall in either category.
That’s odd… I could have sworn that I made a post about the first Portal Turret replica by Gaming Heads but apparently, I didn’t write it… Must be because it sold out so fast that it didn’t really matter anymore? I don’t know… But what I do know is that they’re releasing a second version and it’s available for pre-order right now.
