Thanks to the fact that I haven’t had a lot of spare time the last couple of years, I have the feeling that I’m previewing stuff from games that I haven’t played yet, quite often… Ah well. Doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate the art behind it. Also, the games are on my to-do list.

The next item is from one of my favorite companies namely Gaming Heads. I’ve looked at GH products for quite a while and always kind of wanted the Left 4 Dead Tank and the Half-Life Headcrab Zombie. But those aren’t really in Ingis’ flavor Like I said before, he doesn’t really like horror-themed stuff. With me, it depends. But how could we say no to Half-Life’s leading character: Gordon Freeman!

Yes, finally, the man himself got made and by none other then Gaming Heads. Yeah, they’re one of my favorite companies. But I have to say that I’m curious of how this statue will look eventually since this is the first time -that I know of- that they attempt to create something life-like. And with that, I mean human-like. So far they’ve only made monsters (like the Tank and Headcrab zombie) or statues based on cell-shading art (their Team Fortress 2 line). So, I’m curious if they can pull it of. Don’t really doubt it but still, curious.

This statue will be the second in the Half-Life 2 line, with the Headcrab Zombie being the first, and like the other one, in big-ass 1/4th scale. Which kind of explains the price tag of 339.99$ (or 319.99$ for the regular). But to help you, and attract more customers I guess, Gaming Heads is offering a little discount to help us;
